Teaching
My teaching draws on interdisciplinary methodology, systems thinking, and humanistic and phenomenological lenses on creativity, performance, and complex problem solving.
I've taught in hundreds of schools across the UK, mentored and developed curriculum at the London Interdisciplinary School, led the Psychology of Creativity course at Catalyst Institute of Creative Arts in Berlin, and taught at an alternative education school in central Portugal.
The same questions run through my earlier work as an academy psychologist in professional sport - how people find meaning and clarity and what it takes to act from a place of genuine presence.
I design courses, lectures, and workshops in a range of formats. If you're working with students, athletes, creative practitioners, or teams navigating complex challenges, I'd love to hear from you.

Student, Catalyst Institute of Creative Arts“This was exactly my way of thinking about the world, the problems in it, and the available solutions to them. Charlie was so good at creating an open environment for us in which all opinions were valued, and so I really developed my confidence in interdisciplinary thinking”.
Student, Northwood College for Girls“Charlie’s words still resonate after this course. He left us all with the kind of energy that makes us want to create, internally motivated. For me that’s the best result of this course.
